Don Butler, VP of Government Relations & Public Affairs at Murphy-Brown LLC

Farmers and ag community members are invaluable to North Carolina communities not just because they help to feed us, but because in times of crisis, they step up to the plate to build a better future. One of our favorite stories of farmers helping others is about the pork industry stepping up to help Camp Don Lee build an Environmental Education Center after the terrible destruction of Hurricane Irene.

In this video Don Butler, Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs at Murphy-Brown LLC – A Smithfield Foods Company, talks about why it is so important for young children to be educated on where food comes from, and why Murphy-Brown LLC and other members of the pork industry helped to build the Environmental Education Center at Camp Don Lee.
